Life Story for Loretta Polizzi
Thank you all for coming. Our mom would have been very happy to see everyone. She loved her family and friends more than anything, but we all knew that about her. She had said she did not want anyone to be sad because she had a long and wonderful life with so much love in it from her family and friends that she could not have asked for anything more.
Our mom was the most loving, giving, kind, compassionate, devoted, selfless and sympathetic human being you could have ever known. She was there whenever you needed her and sometimes even when you didn’t! She was always there to listen, help and offer her advice. She was truly an Angel on Earth to so many of us and now she’s our Angel in Heaven watching over us.
Of her 97 years with us, we still wanted more. We were not ready to let her go. But Mom was ready to go. She was tired, and at her age she had lost so many loved ones, both family and friends that she was missing everyone. She loved all of us that were still here with her and didn’t want to leave us, but at the same time she was torn between staying and going and she held on as long as she was able to.
She wanted us to celebrate her life and not mourn for her. We are finding comfort in believing that she is with everyone she was missing so terribly. We know she is her vibrant self again, feeling good and looking even more beautiful than ever, and probably even dancing on some tables again! She lived a long and beautiful life with us here, and now she has all eternity to live the rest in everlasting peace.
She will be dearly missed by many. Until we meet again, we will share all the wonderful memories we have of you. Mom-- we love you more. xoxo
