Oh my Dear Dorothy! I know my BIG Grinch is so happy you’re providing a beautiful tree for many Owls & Owlets to perch on & live in (especially with the destruction of our precious forests). We are so grateful for your kindness 🙏👼🦉❤️

A good friend and my dancing partner! Fred always greeted me with a smile and a kiss. Our “friend’s dinners” will not be the same without him. My heart is broken. I will remember him always.

Thank you so much, Joe! Nothing will be the same but I’m very grateful you were a part of my Uncle’s life. Ruthann

Any Uncle would delight in being held in such grand esteem as Ruthann held Fred. He was her Uncle Fred aka BIG Grinch and her Papa #2. Their reciprocal devotion, admirable and enviable. They spoke daily, often multiple times. While Uncle Fred was her mentor, advisor and invaluably wise sounding board, he was the other half of their comedic duo. They were each other’s link to understanding what events made them the amazing people they are and were. They’re one another’s common link to their shared past but also to their future. He was her treasured family. He will be vastly missed by many and his impact on so many lives profound. My conversations with Fred were always wonderfully amusing and upon hanging up always loved his spunk!!!

Fred was a wonderful friend. He shared his unique sense of humor when he got together with friends. He was probably better read than most "educators." After recent surgery, when asked how he was, he said, " Can't complain." He will be sorely missed.

Thank you so much for your kind thoughts, Bob. Yes ~ he will be sorely missed by many! Ruthann

I love you with all my heart & soul, my Uncle Fred/BIG Grinch/Papa #2!!!! You will be with me forever as an Angel on my shoulder, although I so wish we had much more time together. Life will never be the same without our “Hoot~Hoot~ Hoots.”
I love You,
Grinchie 🙏👼💔😢☮️
