Salvatore Nicolini
November 5, 1925 ~ May 31, 2022
Salvatore (Sal) Nocolini, born November 5, 1925, age 96, passed away very peacefully on May 31, 2022 while living upstate New York. His parents Ausunta (Susan) and Frank Nicolini, from Long Island City, NY, spent most of Sal’s childhood in the New York area.
December 7, 1941, changed everyone’s life forever; with the attacks on Pearl Harbor and our US naval Fleet, Sal enlisted in the United States Navy. He served honorably during the war in the Pacific Theater. His specialty was in communications. When the war ended, he received an Honorable Discharge from the United States Navy and returned to New York City toto begin a career with Charles Pfizer Pharmaceutical Company and start a family. He was a dedicated Dad to his daughters and always enjoyed sharing his many interests in sports, such as teaching kids how to swim, skate and drive, along with travel and photography, that later in life became a second career. It was in his later years, he met and married his wife of 52 years Annabelle Nicolini. He is survived by his daughter Susan Nicolini. He was predeceased by his younger daughter Joan Nicolini
He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
